In Florida, alimony terminates upon remarriage in most circumstances. In addition to that, if someone engages in a financially supportive relationship, or someone retires at a normal retirement age for their profession, that can be a basis for a modification. Additionally, if there is a substantial material and unanticipated circumstances, that can sometimes be a basis for modifying or terminating alimony.
