Alimony is a payment, which can be ordered from spouse to another spouse during a divorce. In Florida when determining an appropriate amount of alimony, the court is going to consider a number of factors within the statutes. Including the duration of the marriage, each spouse’s need and ability to pay, in addition to the spouse’s contributions to the marriage.
